of information and expertise on the Web and allows business professionals
to communicate more effectively and economically through interactive
online meetings. WebEx is an online, virtual meeting service that
allows you to conduct meetings with anybody, without traveling to
a common meeting place.
All you need is a browser and a phone.

How do I access WebEx?

can be accessed by going to the Web site: http://gfnet.webex.com/.
How do I host my own meetings?
Gannett Fleming employees, simply contact your site administrator(s):
- Dan Hersh , Harrisburg office, x2435 or
- Rick Patrick, Harrisburg office, x2264
They will issue your WebEx id and password to enable you to host
WebEx meetings.
How do I schedule a meeting?
Once you have a "host" password, simply log on to: http://gfnet.webex.com
and click on Create Meeting.
How do I notify my attendees of the meeting?
Webex automatically generates an email invitation to all selected
attendees including the host. It gives you more information about
the scheduled meeting, agenda and other pertinent information.
Will my data and conversations be secure?
WebEx provides access control for data and voice conversations,
coupled with data encryption to ensure your meetings cannot be monitored
by anyone who was not invited to the meeting. In addition, the host
can make the meeting more secure by password protecting and hiding
the meeting so only the invited attendees can participate.
